Remembering for a moment that white chocolate is not actual chocolate, it nevertheless describes Douglas’ delightful little plush Cocker Spaniel quite aptly. She’s got a silky soft coat that’s a lovely creamy shade of white and brown. It gives her almost a timeless look that can only be matched by a real live Cocker Spaniel. Best of all, she’s as soft and floppy as the real thing. But softness and squishiness only means so much if the plush animal in question isn’t well made durable. Douglas combines modern techniques with the supple plush and just the right amount of the softest stuffing to craft an unforgettable toy to be cherished for years. The best part is, it’ll probably last that long too, if it’s treated well.

Cocker Spaniels are warm, intelligent and loving animals who tend to make friends with almost anybody. They get extremely excited at the prospect of petting and attention. And looking at Choco here, how can you blame her? She’s sweet, she devours petting like a man wandering in the desert inhales water – she wants lovings as bad as you want to give them. Did you know there’s a difference between the Cocker Spaniel you see in the States versus the one who lives across the Pond in Britain? The one over here is called the American Cocker Spaniel, while the one over there is (natch) called the English Cocker Spaniel. The spaniel was originally bred to hunt a small shore bird. The bird in question is bigger in the UK, so the British version is also bigger. Other than that, there’s not much difference between the two. And big or small, she makes for the best plush dog ever.
