That’s right Santa is busy at the North Pole. He has his elves finishing up on all the toys. They are wrapping all those games, and balls, plush animals, doll houses…. You may have even seen some of them out at the shopping malls. Just remember that elves are sometimes very sneaky and are not always easy to see. Just know that they are out there.
I hear that the elves are also helping Santa read through all those letters that boys and girls have sent. Have you sent yours yet?
Santa is also double checking the naughty or nice list. Yeah, that worries me a little but, I’m pretty sure that I have been good. Maybe I should go clean my room, remember to say Thank you, and be nice to others…just in case I need a good list boost.
We have really GREAT news today. The Norad Santa Tracker site is up. Yes, they opened it up December 1, 2010.
You can pop over there to visit Santa’s Village in the Kids Countdown area. There you will be able to see the North Pole and find out a little about what those elves are up to.
You can also find the Google Earth download so YOU can track Santa on Google Earth on Christmas Eve. I LOVE watching this. That way I also know what time to jump in bed and cover my head. Oh, I mean go to sleep. LOL!
Most years they even have a cookie counter. It will show you how many cookies Santa is eating on his trip around the world. Cookies are how he keeps his bowl full of jelly belly. Hmm, I just hope I don’t eat the cookies before he gets to my house.
So be sure to go over to the Norad Santa Tracker site and check it all out. Before you do, make sure you ask your mom or dad to make sure it’s ok. I bet they will want to visit the site also.
Bonus Santa stuff….If someone in your house is on Twitter, you can follow Norad Santa. They usually have an elf on duty to send out tweets. Starting today they will also send out any Super Important Santa News! I’m so excited!
If you know an adult that is on Facebook then you can also find out cool Santa updates there, just go to Norad Santa on Facebook. Even if you are not a Facebook member, you can still see all the Santa news on the page.
So now that you have all the cool ways to keep track of Santa, be sure to tell your friends so, they don’t get left out of the fun.
I guess I better get my list ready to mail to Santa. What should I put on it?
Toey socks, Stuffed animal, A new bed for my lil dog, maybe a good animal book, and….a fun game.
How does that sound? Hope I didn’t forget anything.
What is on your list for Santa?
