You know the look – that dark muzzle, those warm, friendly, intelligent brown eyes, the tan body broken up with black markings throughout – including the iconic ‘saddle’ on the back. He’s big, he’s beautiful, he’s a German Shepherd (though in Europe, they’re called Alsatians – not to be confused with the American Alsatian, which is an entirely different breed).
If you’ve watched any police shows on TV, or if you yourself work for the real police, you’ve probably seen these iconic K-9s doing their duty as drug-sniffing dogs, or as brave and daring rescue dogs. So versatile and reliable are these fiercely loyal dogs that when it comes to serving man, they come in a huge array of forms. Whether working for the fuzz, or helping a blind guy across the street, GSDs (stands for German Shepherd Dog) are one of the most easily recognizable, and well-loved breeds in existence.
Any company can put together a plush and call it a day. But it takes a certain something for a company to instill each toy with the love and care that makes the toy not only a little more expensive, but so very worth every penny. Kosen brings their own touch to this much-adored breed with their pair of GSDs. The standing German Shepherd is 17 inches long, while the sitting puppy is 8 inches long. It goes without saying that as with all young things, the GSD as a puppy is truly ‘awww’ inspiring. That he’ll grow up to be a paragon of his species is up to you, however. Raise him right, treat him well, and you’ll have the best friend man could ask for.
