Okay boys and girls, it’s imagination time. “Make believe? What’s that? TV has shown not told for so long, I don’t remember how to do that.” Trust us, this’ll be worth it. Just turn off the box for a moment and have a listen…

It’s the 1930s, the middle of the Great Depression. Yes, we’re in a recession now, but it’s nothing like that was. You and your dad are living by yourselves in some low rent dump of a boarding house in Chicago when he gets the lucky break he’s needed for a while. Because it’s either stay and miss his chance, or send for you after the fact without saying goodbye, dad heads off to the Pacific Northwest. Now, the lady he asked to look after you is never gonna win mother of the year, so you head off on your own.

While riding the rails, you encounter a wolf dog that you name Huntley (or Wolf. Whatever). He’s a loyal companion who just happens to be part husky. Throughout your many adventures, he sticks with you as a guardian, companion, friend and sometimes savior. If all this sounds familiar, it’s because we’ve related the plot of The Journey of Natty Gann to a plush husky, but what’s wrong with that? It was a great movie back in ’85 that’s turned into something of a feel good coming-of-age classic. Heck, it’s even got a young John Cusack.

What’s all this got to do with Fiesta’s 15-inch long cuddly monster of a dog? Not much, other than that Huntley is the epitome of plushie sweetness and he makes for a memorable snuggly companion on those long nights when you’re otherwise alone. Part of the Good Dogs collection, he’s definitely a solid bet.
