Stuffed Animals Details…

** Stuffed White Squirrel
** All White with Black Eyes
** Made by Fiesta Wild Animals Collection
** 8.5 inches Long, 7.5 inches Tall

Have you ever stepped outside and heard angry chattering high above you in the trees of your backyard? Or maybe you’ve gone hiking in a forest, and seen small furry shapes darting among the branches. What you saw was probably a squirrel. These pint-sized furry rodents are all a part of the same family as ground squirrels, tree squirrels, marmots, prairie dogs and flying squirrels.

Fiesta’s snow white squirrel may seem strange to you, but squirrels actually do come in different colors. Most commonly, you’ll see the Gray Squirrel, but they can be brown, gray, black or yes, even white – though this is rare, and we’d be surprised to find a white one who lived very long. It’s tough to blend in with your surroundings when you’re as light as the driven snow! But thankfully, with you, this delightful plushie fellow won’t have to worry about hawks, owls or anything else making a meal of him. Instead, you can picture him scampering along snow and ice-laden branches in the dead of winter.

Unlike other animals, squirrels don’t actually hibernate, but they aren’t nearly as active. They’re tiny, so they have to conserve as much body heat as they possibly can. That’s where that fantastic tail of theirs come in handy. They can wrap it around themselves just like a blanket. But with you, Fiesta’s delightful white plushie friend won’t have to go it alone. Go on and look at that adorable face and tell us ‘no’ with a straight face. You can’t, can you?

PS. To the people of Olney, Illinois, no real live White Squirrels were harmed in the making of this stuffed animal (our stuffed plush white squirrel also has black eyes not pink). Your town is still Home of the White Squirrel!
